What does a golf trolleyreally need?
Every Score trolley starts with this question. Not: what else could it have? But: what does it have to do?
The answer is shorter than you think.

Carry
The bag rests on rubberised cradles top and bottom, each with a strap. It stays put without a second look.

Roll
Rear wheels of Ø 315 mm with a wide tread. Light and straight, even over wet grass.

Fold
One rotary knob. Folded, from 23 cm flat without wheels.

Hold
It stays where you let go of it. On a slope, too.
A round takesfour hours.
Not a minute of it should belong to the trolley. It should do its job and otherwise go unnoticed.
Chapter 02 · Leaving out
Everything elsegoes.
It is not leaving out that needs a reason, but adding. Every part has to be able to say what it carries. If it can't, it isn't built.

The lightest partis the one that's missing.
It weighs nothing. It never rattles. It costs nothing.
Chapter 03 · What remains
One tube.And one answer.
What remains is one line: aluminium tube, 30 mm in diameter, powder-coated in silver. A mast, a handle bar, an undercarriage, two or three wheels, one hinge.
This is not a style. It is the answer to the question.

Chapter 04 · The execution
Leaving out isthe easy part.
Most of the work on a Score trolley can't be seen. It is in the parts that aren't there, and in the care taken over the ones that remain.
Where nothing is covered, you see every joint, every radius, every bit of play in the hinge. So the little that remains has to be right.
