We process personal data only as far as it is needed to run this website, to answer your enquiries, or with your consent. The basis is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). This page explains which data that is, what we need it for and what rights you have.

This English version is provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

Score Industries is a brand of Golf Tech Golfartikelvertriebs GmbH. We have not appointed a data protection officer as there is no legal obligation to do so. For any privacy question you can reach us at the address above.

2. Overview

• When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed (server logs). We set no cookies.
• With your consent, we measure audience anonymously, without cookies and without a user profile.
• When you write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry.
• Fonts, images and the 3D model are served from our own server. No content is loaded from third parties.
• We sell nothing through this website, so we process no order or payment data.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered through its global network. For every request Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site, keep it stable and secure, and fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Transfers to the USA are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR); Vercel is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). Log data is kept only as long as needed for operation and security and then deleted.

4. Browser storage, no cookies

This website sets no cookies. We only store your choice in the privacy notice (whether or not you agree to audience measurement) in your browser’s local storage, so the notice doesn’t appear on every visit. The entry contains only your choice and a timestamp, never leaves your device and is strictly necessary (§ 165(3) TKG 2021, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. Audience measurement with Vercel Web Analytics

Only if you agree to “Statistics” in the privacy notice do we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure which pages are visited and how often. This helps us understand which content is needed. We process the page visited, the referrer, the approximate country, and device type, browser and operating system. Vercel Web Analytics works without cookies and without a cross-device identifier: visits are told apart by a value derived from the request and discarded daily. Your IP address is not stored for this, and no user profile is created.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. The provider is Vercel Inc. (see section 3); the same data processing agreement and the same safeguards for transfers to the USA apply. The data is only evaluated in aggregate.

6. Contact form

When you write to us using the contact form, we process your name, email address, country, topic, model and message. We use these details to answer your enquiry and to ask follow-up questions. You receive an automatic confirmation by email.

The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract where your enquiry concerns a product (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Name, email address and message are needed so we can reply; without them we cannot handle the enquiry.

This is how your message travels:

• The form is sent to our server at Vercel (section 3) and passed on from there, encrypted, to our own form system.
• We run the form system and its database with Railway Corporation, 548 Market St PMB 68956, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. The enquiry is stored there.
• The confirmation to you and the notification to our service team are sent via Mailgun (Sinch Email, Mailgun Technologies Inc., 112 E Pecan St #1135, San Antonio, TX 78205, USA), using its servers in the EU.
• Our service team handles the enquiry in a customer service inbox provided by Crisp IM SAS, 2 Boulevard de Launay, 44100 Nantes, France.
• To keep the inbox organised, an AI service provided by Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, checks whether an inactive conversation has been concluded. The conversation history is processed for this; it is not used to train AI models.

After your enquiry has been handled, we may ask you once by email to rate our service briefly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this at any time, for example by replying to that email.

Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all of the providers named. Transfers to providers in the USA are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Contact by email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you give us to handle your request. Legal basis and retention are as in section 6.

8. Fonts and 3D view

This website’s fonts are on our own server; no connection is made to Google or other font providers. The 3D view of the trolleys (“View in 3D”) also loads the model and its code exclusively from our server. It is only loaded when you open it and processes no personal data beyond the server logs (section 3).

9. Buy links and other websites

The “Buy” buttons lead to our retail partner’s online shop, other links to third-party websites. Only when you click such a link does your browser connect to that website. The respective provider is responsible for processing there, and its privacy policy applies. We transmit no data about you to the provider when you click.

10. Recipients and transfers to third countries

The only recipients of your data are the providers named above, who work on our behalf and under our instructions, and, within our company, the people who handle your enquiry. Data is transferred to countries outside the EU and EEA only to Vercel (sections 3 and 5) and to Railway, Mailgun and Anthropic (section 6), each on the basis of the safeguards named. We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising.

11. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations, for example under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code or Commercial Code (usually seven years for business correspondence relevant to accounting). The data is then deleted.

12. Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then stop processing the data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds.

An informal message to office@golftech.at or to our postal address is enough for any of this.

13. Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at. You can also contact the supervisory authority in the EU member state where you live or work.

14. Security, automated decisions, changes

All connections to this website and to our form system are encrypted with TLS. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR). We update this privacy policy when the website or the law changes; the version published here applies.
